Labor Day

Hello Traders,
Well all three positions are still valid. The market has had a couple of good days under light volume. All of our trades have been bearish. The trade most at risk is CAL. Our exit for CAL is buy back the 30 leg if CAL closes above 33.55.
We added to our GS Bear Call Spread and the $RUT Bear Call Spread, since we haven't seen a change in trend as of yet.
Let see what happens next?

Last Month's Results

Hello Guys,
Well it was a down month, but we still came out profitable last month. From my calculations, we cleared $729. I understand that some of the teams do not make money. We find out more at the next meeting next weekend.
Happy Trading,

2 potential trades

Hello traders,

Next Conference Call: 6:30 Friday 8/9.

Tonight we set up 2 conditional spreads. One on the $RUT and one on the OIH.

  • The $RUT is a 800/790 Bear Call Spread. Trade if the $RUT drops below 760, return is about 14%.
  • The OIH is a 180/175 Bear Call Spread. Trade if the OIH drops below 165, return about 14%.

Happy Trading,

Brian

Hello Traders,

We're still ahead of the game. What's next? Options expiration is only 2 weeks away.

As the market drops, we're making $$$

Hello Traders,

Remember less that 2 weeks ago, we were bullish on OIH and made a Bull Put Spread. We the OIH broke below 180, we bought back the 180 put. Since then, we have allowed the 175 PUT gain value as OIH has dropped further, to $166.75. We are now up 341% ($1614). Kinda nifty, hun?

We have a 40/35 Bear Call Spread that we trade with a couple of contract, then a week later we did it again.

Cool, Happy Trading,
