Hello all,
The figures show the result of the latest set of trades. With CAL rising we decided to buy back the short leg. We also opened a new spread on RUT. As currently we ahead by $912. Not bad, hun?

$RUT-sold the bull put for 1.55 credit
Sold 800 put for 6.30
Bought 790 put for 4.75

I don't know the email address for the others in the group. That's why I only sent this to you.

"see" you Friday,

p.s. I checked with TOS and found out that I set up our OCO order correctly. So, our exit order is good every day from 3:30-4pm eastern time.
Now I just have to conquer the analyze tab!!

OIH order

I re-entered our OIH order using an advanced order (1st triggers OCO). I'm trying to learn as much of the TOS platform as possible and still try to do the best for our group. If I can get this down I'd be happy to share what I've learned. I think I've attached a screen shot of the trade. Computers are also a challenge for me.

Explanation of order:
Order #1 Sell 6 contracts of Oct 180/175 put @ a limit of .65 (1st order triggers the next two)
order #2 buy back the vertical for .05 (for a profit)
Order #3 buy back the vertical at mkt if oih trades at or below 179 (for our pre-defined acceptable loss)

if order 2 happens first then order 3 is cancelled and vice versa

we'll see what happens.....until Tuesday.....happy trading

Three new Trades

We're starting to become a bit more bullish. However we are expecting a pull back to the 30 day moving averages. We placed all the spreads on the far side of the support / resistance lines. We're kind of disapointed that the returns are not as good as last month.

Happy Trading,

Brian Cox

Labor Day

Hello Traders,
Well all three positions are still valid. The market has had a couple of good days under light volume. All of our trades have been bearish. The trade most at risk is CAL. Our exit for CAL is buy back the 30 leg if CAL closes above 33.55.
We added to our GS Bear Call Spread and the $RUT Bear Call Spread, since we haven't seen a change in trend as of yet.
Let see what happens next?
